The service

Sutoor converts speech from recordings and audio or video files into written text using automated transcription systems. Automated transcription can contain errors, especially with background noise, overlapping voices, or unclear words. Review the text before relying on it for anything important, such as legal, medical, or financial matters.

Free minutes

• Each device gets 15 free transcription minutes every month.
• Free minutes reset on the first day of each calendar month (Riyadh time); unused minutes do not carry over.
• Minutes are counted by the length of the uploaded audio.

Subscriptions

• We offer two auto-renewable subscriptions: Sutoor Monthly and Sutoor Yearly. The price in your local currency is shown in the app before purchase. In Saudi Arabia, the prices are SAR 19.99 for monthly and SAR 199.99 for yearly, including VAT.
• Each subscription includes 10 transcription hours per month. On the monthly plan the hours reset at each renewal; on the yearly plan they reset monthly from the purchase date. Unused hours do not carry over.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. It is also reachable from the Settings screen in the app.
• If you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then you return to the free minutes.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. To request a refund, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• If you change phones, use Restore Purchases in the app with the same Apple Account.
• If we change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance through Apple's process, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the content you upload for transcription. You agree:

• to upload only content you have the right to record and transcribe, and to obtain the consent of people you record where the law requires it;
• not to use the app for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates others' rights or privacy;
• not to circumvent minute or subscription limits, disrupt the service, or access our servers other than through the app.

We may suspend access for any device that violates these terms.

Your content

The audio you upload and the resulting text belong to you. We use the audio only to transcribe it and delete it from our servers as described in the Privacy Policy. Transcripts are stored only on your phone, and you are responsible for backing them up. Deleting the app deletes the transcripts stored in it.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and working well, but it may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may improve or change features over time.

Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that transcriptions are accurate or error-free, and we are not liable for any damage arising from reliance on transcribed text or from service interruptions. In any case, our liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the three months before the claim.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, or its support. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app afterwards means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
